SpaceX signs $920 million monthly cloud deal with Google

June 5, 2026 2:46 PM EDT

SpaceX entered into a cloud service agreement with Google LLC on June 5, 2026, according to an amended registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Under the agreement, Google will pay SpaceX $920 million per month from October 2026 through June 2029 for access to compute capacity including approximately 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, memory and related components. The capacity will ramp up through September 2026 at reduced fees.

The agreement includes termination provisions. If SpaceX fails to deliver the committed GPU capacity by September 30, 2026, Google may terminate the agreement immediately after a one-month grace period or accept the available GPUs with proportionally reduced monthly payments. After December 31, 2026, either party may terminate with 90 days' notice.

Google will retain ownership and intellectual property rights to its content, AI models and related data under the terms of the agreement.

SpaceX filed Amendment No. 2 to its Form S-1 registration statement on June 3, 2026, which disclosed the Google agreement details. The company trades on NASDAQ under ticker SPCX.
