Investing.com -- The U.S. State Department approved two foreign military sales to New Zealand on Friday valued at a combined $1.57 billion.
The first package includes five Lockheed Martin MH-60R Multi-Mission Helicopters along with related equipment, valued at $1.5 billion. The second package consists of 20 MK 54 MOD 0 Lightweight Torpedoes valued at $69 million, according to the department.
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems will serve as the principal contractor for the helicopter package.
