Haemonetics Corporation (NYSE: HAE) announced it will restructure its financial reporting segments, transitioning from three reportable segments to two effective with its first quarter fiscal 2027 results.
The medical technology company will combine its previously separate Plasma and Blood Center segments into a single Apheresis segment. The Hospital segment will be renamed MedSurg. The company stated the updated segment names better reflect the underlying businesses, technologies, and markets served.
The new reporting structure will begin with the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, which commenced on March 29, 2026. Haemonetics will continue providing supplemental revenue disclosure within each segment. The Apheresis segment will include supplemental disclosure for Plasma and Other, while the MedSurg segment will continue to include Blood Management Technologies and Interventional Technologies.
To facilitate comparability, the company posted a supplemental presentation containing recast quarterly historical revenue for fiscal years 2024, 2025, and 2026, along with a recast of its previously issued fiscal year 2027 revenue guidance. The company clarified that the recast is intended solely to align historical and guidance disclosures with the new segment structure and does not represent a reaffirmation or update of its fiscal year 2027 guidance.
The supplemental presentation is available on the company's investor relations website. Any guidance updates will be provided during the company's first quarter fiscal year 2027 earnings call.
