Dexcom to present diabetes study results and launch updated glucose app

Dexcom Inc. (NASDAQ: DXCM) will present clinical findings from its CONNECT randomized controlled trial at the American Diabetes Association's Scientific Sessions in New Orleans from June 5-8, 2026. The study examines the benefits of continuous glucose monitoring for adults with Type 2 diabetes who do not use insulin.

Dr. Thomas W. Martens from the International Diabetes Center will present the CONNECT study results on June 6 at 1:45 p.m. CDT. The trial focuses on demonstrating clinical benefits of Dexcom's CGM technology for Type 2 diabetes patients not on insulin therapy.

The company will offer early access to a redesigned Stelo app on June 5 to select users. The updated app received FDA clearance and includes pattern recognition features, AI coaching, and personalized daily and weekly summaries. The full rollout is planned for later this summer.

Dexcom has entered an agreement to acquire Nutrisense, with the transaction expected to close in the coming weeks pending regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The acquisition will add registered dietitians, nutrition guidance, and behavior-change support to Dexcom's platform.

The Stelo app targets people not using insulin who seek to track their glucose levels for health management purposes. The redesigned version aims to help users understand connections between glucose patterns and how they feel.
