CitroTech Inc. (NYSE AM: CITR) announced it now holds 31 issued patents and 56 pending applications for wildfire prevention technology. The company's patent portfolio focuses on GPS-enabled verification systems and network-connected databases that create coordinate-stamped records of fire retardant applications.
The technology combines GPS tracking with wireless command-and-control systems to document when and where fire retardant treatments are applied. The system stores this data in network-connected databases to generate auditable records for compliance reporting and operational oversight.
"Wildfire mitigation is increasingly AI-enabled and data-driven, and verification is now a baseline requirement," said Wes Bolsen, CEO of CitroTech. "Historically, systems capable of delivering tracked deployment at scale have relied on potentially harmful phosphate-based chemistries."
CitroTech's platform integrates what the company describes as environmentally responsible fire inhibitor solutions with GPS verification systems. The technology is designed for use across landscapes and infrastructure materials including wood and lumber.
The patent portfolio also includes innovations in wildfire defense systems for structures, fire inhibitor formulations, and deployment technologies for municipal prevention programs, utility protection, and residential applications.
CitroTech manufactures fire prevention solutions that the company states are recognized by the EPA Safer Choice program and tested to UL Greenguard Gold standards. The information is based on a company press release.
