Buckle reports 4.5% increase in May net sales

The Buckle, Inc. (NYSE: BKE) reported net sales of $92.4 million for the four-week period ended May 30, 2026, representing a 4.5% increase from $88.4 million in the same period last year, according to a company statement.
Comparable store sales for locations open at least one year increased 2.2% for the four-week May period compared to the prior year period.
For the 17-week fiscal period ended May 30, 2026, net sales rose 5.7% to $381.1 million from $360.5 million in the corresponding period of 2025. Year-to-date comparable store sales increased 4.4% for the 17-week period.
The Nebraska-based specialty retailer operates 445 retail stores across 42 states, compared to 438 stores in 42 states as of June 4, 2025. The company focuses on apparel, accessories, and footwear, with denim as a specialty category.
