Redwire Defense wins $15.9M Army contract for drone systems

Investing.com - Redwire (NYSE: RDW) Defense LLC was awarded a $15,857,020 firm-fixed-price contract by the U.S. Department of War for procurement of eight Stalker Block 35 systems, the department announced today.
The systems will provide organic reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition capabilities for maneuver commanders. Bids were solicited online, with 10 received for the contract.
Work will be performed at locations to be determined. The estimated completion date is Aug. 30, 2026.
Fiscal year and fund type will be determined with each order. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
The contract numbers are W58RGZ-26-G-0006 and W58RGZ-26-F-0333. Redwire Defense is based in San Luis Obispo, California.
