NAT CEO Herbjorn Hansson purchases 100,000 shares at $5.26 each

Nordic American Tankers Ltd (NYSE: NAT) CEO Herbjorn Hansson purchased 100,000 shares at $5.26 per share on June 3, bringing his total holdings to 5,600,000 shares, according to a company statement.
Alexander Hansson, the company's Vice-Chairman and son of the CEO, purchased 300,000 shares at $5.16 per share the previous week.
The Hansson family now owns 11,455,000 shares, representing 5.4% of NAT's outstanding shares. The family maintains its position as the company's largest private shareholder group.
The transactions were disclosed in a letter to shareholders from Herbjorn Hansson, who serves as founder, chairman and chief executive officer of the tanker shipping company.
