Salesforce appoints Guy Wanger as chief accounting officer

Salesforce Inc. (NYSE: CRM) appointed Guy Wanger as chief accounting officer and principal accounting officer, effective June 15, 2026, according to a company statement.
Wanger, 64, most recently served as partner and West Region Accounting Advisory Leader at WilliamsMarston LLC, a national advisory firm, which he joined in March 2025. He previously held the role of chief administrative officer at C3 AI from September 2023 to January 2024.
Wanger spent over 38 years at Ernst & Young LLP from 1985 to 2023, including roles as an independent consultant from 2022 to 2023 and audit partner from 1996 to 2022. During his tenure at Ernst & Young, he served as Global Technology Industry Assurance Leader from 2012 to 2019 and as Salesforce's lead audit engagement partner from 2016 to 2021.
Wanger holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University and is a certified public accountant in California and Nevada.
The compensation package includes an initial annual base salary of $700,000 and an annual bonus target of 70% of base salary. Wanger will receive a $2 million sign-on cash bonus and an equity award of restricted stock units with a grant date target value of $9 million, vesting over four years. He will be eligible to participate in compensation and benefit programs available to senior executives.
