Serve Robotics partners with NoScrubs for autonomous laundry delivery

Serve Robotics Inc. (NASDAQ: SERV) announced a partnership with NoScrubs to launch autonomous laundry delivery services in select Los Angeles neighborhoods. The pilot program represents Serve's first commercial delivery partnership outside of food delivery.

The initiative uses Serve's existing fleet of autonomous sidewalk robots to deliver NoScrubs laundry orders. Serve operates approximately 2,000 robots across the United States, including 500 in Los Angeles, which will handle laundry deliveries alongside their current food delivery operations.

"The same Serve robots that bring you dinner will soon bring you your laundry and more."

NoScrubs operates across seven major U.S. metropolitan areas, offering on-demand laundry services. The company's customers will select delivery windows through the NoScrubs app, with orders assigned to Serve robots based on availability and storage requirements.

The partnership aims to maximize robot utilization since laundry pickups and returns typically occur outside of meal delivery peak times. This allows Serve to increase deliveries through its existing fleet without additional infrastructure costs.

The expansion follows Serve's January acquisition of Diligent Robotics, which extended the company's platform into indoor environments. Serve has deployed robots that have reached a population of approximately 3 million and support delivery for more than 4,000 restaurants since spinning off from Uber in 2021.
