OSI Systems receives $19 million order for inspection systems

OSI Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS) announced its Security division received an order valued at approximately $19 million in North America to support deployment of non-intrusive inspection systems at cargo and vehicle inspection checkpoints.
The order includes civil works and systems integration for the deployment of the company's inspection technology. The systems will be used at border screening operations for cargo and vehicle checkpoints.
"This award reflects our continued partnership with the customer and the critical role our technologies play in enabling secure and efficient border screening operations," said Ajay Mehra, OSI Systems' president and CEO.
OSI Systems operates through three business segments: Security, Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, and Healthcare. The Security division provides inspection systems, screening solutions, and support services. The company serves customers in over 170 countries.
