Polestar Automotive (NASDAQ: PSNY) announced its expansion into Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, marking entry into its 29th, 30th and 31st markets.
The electric vehicle manufacturer will establish retail presence through a partnership with Volvax Baltic, utilizing the company's existing retailer network in the region. The first dedicated Polestar Space will open in Tallinn, Estonia, in June, with locations in Riga, Latvia, and Vilnius, Lithuania, following in the second half of the year.
"Expanding into the Baltic region is a natural next step for Polestar as we continue to grow in Europe, and is part of our journey to grow our sales network in 2026 to 250 locations globally," said Scott Dicken, Polestar Chief Commercial Officer.
Europe represents Polestar's largest geographical market, accounting for 78% of total retail sales volumes in the first quarter of 2026, according to the company's statement.
The expansion includes access to charging infrastructure through Polestar Charge, which provides access to over 2,800 charging points across the three Baltic countries, ranging from high-speed superchargers to local charging options.
The company stated it is transforming its retail network to focus on locations designed around test drives to make vehicle experiences more accessible to customers.
