Sachem Capital board member Arthur Goldberg dies

Sachem Capital Corp. (NYSE American: SACH) announced that board member Arthur Goldberg has died. Goldberg served as an independent director since 2017 and was a member of the company's Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.
The company appointed Leslie Bernhard as Audit Committee Chair and Audit Committee Financial Expert following Goldberg's death.
"It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and fellow Board Member, Arthur Goldberg," said John Villano, the company's chairman and chief executive officer. "Arthur has served as a Board Member for nearly ten years, and we are thankful for his outstanding guidance, wisdom and friendship."
Sachem Capital is a mortgage real estate investment trust that originates and manages loans secured by first mortgages on real property. The company provides short-term loans to real estate investors for property acquisition, renovation and development projects.
