Perfect Corp. (NYSE: PERF) announced a partnership with Korean makeup brand TIRTIR to implement augmented reality virtual try-on technology across TIRTIR's online store and flagship location in Seoul's Seongsu district.
The technology allows customers to virtually test foundation and lip products on TIRTIR's website. At the physical store, visitors can access a "FIND MY SHADE" AR service that provides personalized foundation shade recommendations with virtual testing capabilities.
Perfect Corp.'s AR solution digitally reproduces colors and textures of makeup products, enabling customers to preview items before purchase. The implementation covers both foundation and lip product lines available through TIRTIR's direct-to-consumer channels.
TIRTIR operates its flagship store in Seoul and maintains an online presence through its official website. The brand focuses on offering makeup products across a range of shades for face and point makeup categories.
Perfect Corp. develops AI and AR technology for beauty, fashion and digital content applications. The company's YouCam suite of applications has recorded over 1.1 billion downloads globally and serves more than 800 brand partners worldwide.
The AR foundation try-on feature is accessible through TIRTIR's official website. This partnership represents Perfect Corp.'s expansion into the South Korean beauty market through technology integration with local brands.
