Teladoc Health (NYSE: TDOC) announced its virtual healthcare services are now available through Walmart's Better Care Services platform. The partnership provides Walmart customers access to virtual urgent care, dermatology, and nutrition services with both insurance and cash-pay options.
Customers can access Teladoc Health's services for $89 per visit on a cash-pay basis. The offerings include 24/7 virtual care for common conditions such as sinus infections and urinary tract infections, dermatology consultations with board-certified specialists, and one-on-one nutrition counseling with registered dietitians.
The collaboration allows prescriptions to be sent to pharmacies, including Walmart locations, with same-day delivery available in many areas. Walmart+ members receive free delivery services.
"Walmart is where millions of Americans already go for everyday needs, and now, getting care from Teladoc Health can be part of that same experience," said Kelly Bliss, Teladoc Health's President of U.S. Group Health.
Leslie Fletcher, Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships at Walmart U.S. Health & Wellness, stated that the addition of Teladoc Health continues to expand Better Care Services with more care options and convenient access to prescriptions.
This partnership follows the January launch of Teladoc Health's BetterHelp mental health services on Walmart's platform. The company positions the collaboration as part of its strategy to integrate with platforms and retailers that Americans already use regularly.
Teladoc Health operates what it describes as the largest nationwide network of virtual care providers, serving millions of patients annually for various medical conditions and ongoing health support.
