Amentum wins $50M Navy contract modification for Georgia base

Investing.com - Amentum (NYSE: AMTM) Technology Inc. received a $50.2 million contract modification from the U.S. Department of War to continue base operations support services at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay and outlying areas.
The modification exercises Option Period Five under a previously awarded contract (N69450-20-D-0045) originally granted in 2020. The award brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $303.5 million.
Work will be performed in Kings Bay, Georgia (99%) and outlying areas (1%), and is expected to be completed by May 2027. No funds will be obligated at time of award.
The Navy will obligate $40.6 million in fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance funds, fiscal 2026 Defense health program funds, and fiscal 2026 family housing operations and maintenance contract funds for recurring work on individual task orders issued during the option period.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, Florida, is the contracting activity. Amentum Technology Inc. is based in Tullahoma, Tennessee.
