Snowflake expands AWS partnership with $6 billion multi-year agreement

Snowflake Inc. (NYSE: SNOW) announced an expanded collaboration with Amazon Web Services through a new $6 billion multi-year agreement aimed at accelerating enterprise artificial intelligence adoption globally.
The cloud data platform company also deepened its partnership with OpenAI to deliver AI capabilities through co-innovation and joint go-to-market efforts, according to a company statement.
Snowflake brought capabilities from its SAP partnership to general availability as part of its expanded partnership initiatives.
The AWS agreement represents an expansion of the companies' existing collaboration, with the multi-year commitment structured to support enterprise AI adoption across global markets.
The partnership developments were disclosed in a company press release statement.
