Trump rules out easing Iran sanctions, says no uranium for China or Russia
Investing.com -- President Donald Trump said Wednesday that the United States is not considering any relief from sanctions imposed on Iran.
Speaking to reporters, Trump stated the U.S. will maintain control of financial measures against Tehran. The president made clear that no discussions are underway regarding the removal or reduction of existing sanctions.
Trump also expressed opposition to proposals involving Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium. He said he was not comfortable with either Russia or China taking possession of the material.
