Murchinson Ltd., which holds approximately 7.4% of Nano Dimension Ltd. (NASDAQ: NNDM) shares, announced it will host an investor conference call to discuss the company's strategic review process and corporate governance issues.
The Toronto-based investment firm stated it will hold a virtual meeting on June 3 at 12:00 PM EDT for shareholders to discuss Nano Dimension's strategic review, which Murchinson said has shown limited progress over eight months with minimal communication from the company.
Murchinson criticized Nano Dimension's May 26 press release, describing it as containing mischaracterizations and false statements. The firm expressed concerns about the board of directors' approach and Chairman Bob Pons' role in the review process.
The investment firm invited fellow shareholders to join the call to exchange information and perspectives about the company's current state and future direction. Murchinson characterized the meeting as a response to what it views as the board's defensive actions that do not serve shareholders' interests.
Founded in 2012, Murchinson is an alternative asset management firm serving institutional investors, family offices and qualified clients. The firm focuses on corporate action, distressed investing, private equity and structured finance opportunities across global markets.
