YY Group signs non-binding pact with Velobotics for autonomous cleaning robots
YY Group Holding Limited (NASDAQ: YYGH) signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Beijing Velobotics Tech Co., Ltd. to deploy autonomous floor-scrubbing robots in Singapore and Malaysia.
Under the 24-month partnership, YY Group will serve as a regional deployment partner for Velobotics' VIGGO L4 autonomous cleaning fleets in commercial facilities including transportation hubs, banking facilities, and mixed-use complexes.
The initial deployment will evaluate the VIGGO SC series, which features multi-sensor fusion technology and automated docking workstations designed for water replenishment, self-draining, and autonomous charging without manual intervention.
"Integrating L4 autonomous driving technology into our daily IFM workflows bridges the gap between traditional manual operations and high-margin smart facility management," said Mike Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YY Group.
The partnership is non-binding except for confidentiality, intellectual property, public disclosure, and governing law provisions. The companies intend to negotiate definitive agreements covering commercial terms for product purchase, deployment, and potential market development rights.
YY Group noted there is no assurance that definitive agreements will be reached, that products will be deployed at any specific scale, or that the collaboration will generate any specific level of revenue or operational impact.
The partnership aligns with YY Group's strategic focus on AI and automation capabilities outlined in its May 11, 2026 Strategic Update. YY Group operates an AI-native workforce management platform and integrated facility management services across Asia.
