Silicom Ltd. (NASDAQ: SILC) announced it secured a design win with a global cybersecurity company for white-label switches, with expected annual sales of approximately $5 million after full ramp-up.
The Israel-based networking solutions provider engineered a complete switch range to meet the customer's specifications. Samples have been delivered and first production orders are expected during 2026, according to a company statement.
The cybersecurity customer selected Silicom's switches to replace existing proprietary switches from an incumbent vendor, seeking to move away from vendor lock-in. The customer chose Silicom following an evaluation process that considered engineering capabilities and ability to deliver validated products on schedule.
"Being chosen by a global cyber security leader of this caliber to design and supply its entire switch family is a strong testament to the trust our customers place in Silicom," said Liron Eizenman, Silicom's CEO.
The design win establishes white-label switching as a new product line for Silicom, adding to its existing portfolio of server adapters, FPGA smart cards and edge systems. The company indicated discussions are underway regarding higher-end switches for the customer's next-generation systems.
Eizenman stated the company is in discussions with other potential customers for white-label switching solutions. Silicom operates in cloud, data center and edge environments, serving customers including cloud providers, service providers and original equipment manufacturers.
