Immuneering Corporation (NASDAQ: IMRX) reported a median overall survival of 17.3 months in first-line metastatic pancreatic cancer patients treated with atebimetinib plus modified gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel in its Phase 2a clinical trial, based on data as of April 24, 2026.
The study included 55 patients, with detailed results scheduled for presentation at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting on June 1, 2026. The treatment showed a tolerability profile with only two categories of Grade 3 or higher treatment-related adverse events observed in 10% or more of patients: anemia at 16% and neutropenia at 18%, both related to chemotherapy components.
Peter Vu of UC San Diego Health will present the complete data during an oral presentation at 1:15 p.m. CDT on June 1. The presentation will include information on overall survival, progression-free survival, response rates, safety data, and weight stability outcomes.
"A 17.3-month median overall survival is a meaningful result for first-line metastatic pancreatic cancer patients," said Ben Zeskind, CEO of Immuneering. The company stated these findings support its randomized Phase 3 clinical trial, MAPKeeper 301, which is currently recruiting patients.
The expanded cohort of 55 patients includes an initial group of 34 patients previously reported plus an additional 21 patients. Immuneering's pivotal Phase 3 MAPKeeper 301 trial evaluating atebimetinib plus modified gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel in first-line metastatic pancreatic cancer patients is recruiting, with the company targeting mid-2026 for dosing the first patient.
Immuneering will host a conference call at 8:00 a.m. ET on June 1, 2026, to discuss the trial data.
