Digital Turbine (NASDAQ: APPS) announced an expanded partnership with Google Cloud to integrate AI-powered optimization and recommendation capabilities across its mobile platform. The collaboration incorporates Google's Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform to enhance the company's advertiser and publisher solutions.
The partnership enables Digital Turbine to process real-time mobile signals generated across its ecosystem, which spans technology embedded in over one billion devices and direct integrations across 80,000 apps. The company operates its Ignite Graph and DT iQ intelligence systems to analyze mobile data for targeting and optimization purposes.
"By combining Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform with our proprietary mobile signals and global infrastructure, we're embedding AI directly into the intelligence layer of our platform to enable systems that continuously learn, optimize, and adapt in real time across billions of mobile interactions," said Ben John, CTO of Digital Turbine.
The AI capabilities will be integrated into Digital Turbine's core intelligence systems rather than added as separate tools. Jim Anderson, Vice President of North America Partner Ecosystem, stated that the partnership will help Digital Turbine use Google Cloud's infrastructure to embed advanced AI capabilities directly into their platform.
Digital Turbine previously announced a collaboration with Databricks as part of its broader AI and data strategy. The company's platform reaches over one billion users monthly and processes mobile advertising and app discovery services.
The announcement follows Google's AI presentations at its I/O conference. Digital Turbine emphasized that the collaboration operates on what it describes as a secure, governed AI foundation designed to preserve privacy and performance requirements in mobile advertising.
