Tenable Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: TENB) announced the release of its Tenable One Open Connector at the EXPOSURE 2026 conference in Boston on May 21. The new capability allows customers to integrate third-party, custom and internal data from external sources into the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform.
The connector works alongside the company's existing 300 pre-built integrations to consolidate exposure data in a single platform. The system enables automatic synchronization to keep exposure data current and includes manual upload options for additional flexibility.
The company also introduced the Tenable Open Partner Ecosystem Network (OPEN) as part of its integration strategy. According to the announcement, the connector addresses limitations in traditional security platforms that restrict data integration options.
"Closed platforms dictate what data customers can use. We believe customers should decide," said Eric Doerr in the press release. The connector extends capabilities to incorporate data from AI security tools, code security platforms, cloud and identity systems, internal asset inventories and threat intelligence feeds.
Key features include the ability to ingest data from AI models, internal systems and unsupported tools; combine multiple data sources for analysis; maintain automatic synchronization; and customize data mapping for specific workflows. The system is designed to work with the company's Tenable Hexa AI engine for prioritization and remediation processes.
The Open Connector targets organizations managing data from AI-powered security tools and seeks to address fragmented visibility across security systems. Tenable serves approximately 44,000 customers globally through its exposure management platform.
