ChargePoint Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CHPT) appointed Jyothi Swaroop as chief marketing and growth officer, the electric vehicle charging company announced. Swaroop will oversee global go-to-market strategy, marketing, revenue operations, and new market expansion.
The executive joins ChargePoint as the company pursues its three-year transformation strategy focused on profitable growth and platform expansion. Swaroop will report directly to CEO Rick Wilmer and lead efforts to strengthen the company's market position and growth initiatives.
"Jyothi brings the rare combination of enterprise technology depth, go-to-market rigor, strategic storytelling, and growth leadership that this moment requires," Wilmer said in a statement.
Swaroop's responsibilities include unifying ChargePoint's global go-to-market operations, improving revenue generation and pipeline conversion, scaling partner-led growth, and expanding market awareness. The role encompasses marketing, sales enablement, and partner monetization functions.
The new chief marketing and growth officer brings experience from enterprise technology companies including Oracle, Dell EMC, Veritas, and DDN. He has led go-to-market organizations, brand transformations, and strategic partner ecosystems in competitive markets.
"The market opportunity ahead goes way beyond EV charging infrastructure," Swaroop stated. "My focus is simple: sharpen the narrative, scale the GTM engine, monetize our partnerships, expand our market reach, and help ChargePoint grow with the urgency and ambition this category demands."
ChargePoint operates over 1.37 million public and private charging ports worldwide and has facilitated more than 21 billion electric miles, according to the company's statement.
