N-able Inc. (NYSE: NABL) announced an integration between its Cove Data Protection backup system and HaloPSA ticketing platform. The integration automatically creates tickets for backup failures and issues, according to a company statement.
The system generates tickets only when none exist for a particular issue and updates existing tickets rather than creating duplicates. Tickets include backup failure details to help managed service providers identify problems more quickly.
"This integration brings Cove's real-time backup intelligence into HaloPSA's platform, helping to ensure critical issues surface immediately in the tools MSPs depend on," said Chris Groot, general manager of Cove Data Protection.
The integration builds on existing connections between N-able's unified endpoint management platforms and HaloPSA. N-able provides cybersecurity services to more than 500,000 organizations globally.
Alex Golden, head of product at Halo, said the integration places backup alerts within HaloPSA workflows to help managed service providers respond to issues more rapidly.
The integration aims to reduce manual ticket creation processes and alert volumes that can delay response times for backup failures. The system is designed to keep backup monitoring within existing service desk workflows.
