QIAGEN N.V. (NYSE: QGEN) announced the launch of QIA Agent, an artificial intelligence-powered digital assistant designed to help researchers plan experiments and access product information through a conversational interface.
The platform connects experiment planning, product discovery and workflow support through natural language processing. Users can access the system with or without login credentials, with registered users receiving personalized pricing and order history information.
QIA Agent integrates product information, protocols, technical documentation and support resources into a single interface. The system connects with existing QIAGEN digital tools including the Experiment Configurator, Order Status Checker and Product Availability Checker.
"Researchers today are navigating growing scientific complexity, increasing volumes of data and expanding workflow choices," said Nitin Sood, Senior Vice President and Head of Product Portfolio & Innovation at QIAGEN. "QIA Agent is designed to simplify how researchers interact with scientific information, workflow guidance and operational support through a single AI-powered experience."
The platform allows researchers to check product availability, track orders and access support information without switching between multiple systems. QIAGEN reports more than 260,000 users are registered on its existing "My QIAGEN" platform.
QIA Agent is accessible globally through www.qiagen.com and is intended for research use only, not diagnostic applications. The launch represents part of QIAGEN's broader initiative to integrate AI and digital technologies across its customer-facing services.
The Netherlands-based company provides molecular testing solutions to more than 500,000 customers worldwide in life sciences and molecular diagnostics markets.
