CleanSpark hires Ruben Sahakyan as senior vice president of finance

CleanSpark Inc. (NASDAQ: CLSK) announced the appointment of Ruben Sahakyan as Senior Vice President of Finance, according to a company statement. Sahakyan has joined the data center developer and will oversee capital markets, financial planning and analysis functions, and support mergers and acquisitions activities.
Sahakyan previously served as Managing Director in the Fintech & Financial Services Group and Co-Head of Digital Assets & Infrastructure Investment Banking at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel company. He has held positions at KBW, Stifel, GMP Securities and TD Bank during his career in financial services.
The executive has advised on more than $20 billion in transaction value across digital assets, infrastructure and fintech sectors over 15 years in financial services. His experience spans investment banking, equity research, risk management and asset management.

Sahakyan holds Series 79 and 63 licenses, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and is a CFA charterholder.
CleanSpark operates a portfolio of more than 1.8 GW of power, land and data centers across the United States. The company describes itself as a data center developer focused on Bitcoin mining and AI infrastructure.
