Precision Peptide's BPC-157 patch achieves 95.5% purity in lab tests
The Precision Peptide Company Inc. (CSE: BPC) (OTCQB: PNGAF) announced that its BPC-157 transdermal patch achieved 95.5% chromatographic purity in independent laboratory testing, meeting industry standards for high-purity peptide products.
Miraxis Labs, a San Diego-based analytical laboratory, conducted the testing using Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography with Diode Array Detection. The results were certified by two PhD scientists and confirmed a quantified dose of 2.02 mg of BPC-157 per patch.
The purity result meets the 95% threshold recognized across the peptide industry as the benchmark for credible high-purity grade peptide products. The patch is designed as a needle-free, wearable product intended to deliver BPC-157 through the skin without requiring injections.
"This is a milestone result," said Pratap Sandhu, CEO of The Precision Peptide Company. "We set ourselves a high standard on this product: independent third-party testing, a measured dose per patch, and a purity result that clears the recognized industry benchmark."
The company stated the results support progression of the patch toward commercial release. The product is positioned as an alternative to traditional peptide administration methods, which have historically been limited by needle aversion among consumers.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee is scheduled to evaluate BPC-157 for inclusion on the 503A Bulks List at a public meeting on July 23, 2026. In February 2026, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced that BPC-157 would be among peptides moving toward Category 1 status, subject to ongoing review.
The company plans to continue additional testing and manufacturing scale-up before commercial release, subject to regulatory considerations.
