Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) announced a long-term partnership with Grand Canyon University to provide campus dining, retail, catering, and athletics-related hospitality programs. The agreement establishes hospitality services designed to scale with the university's enrollment growth.
Under the partnership, Aramark Collegiate Hospitality will manage dining operations across GCU's campus, which currently includes 35 dining options. The company will provide customized programming that combines proprietary concepts, national brands, and local partners rather than standardized solutions.
The collaboration includes enhanced arena concessions and gameday experiences, along with athlete-focused nutrition and dining programs. Aramark will support campus events and athletic competitions with upgraded technology and optimized service operations.
"Grand Canyon University exemplifies the next generation of private higher education—ambitious, enrollment-driven, and nationally visible," said Barbara Flanagan, President and CEO of Aramark Collegiate Hospitality. "By combining customized programs with trusted performance reporting, advanced analytics, and engaged leadership, we are creating a platform for continuous improvement and long-term value."
GCU President Brian Mueller noted that the university ranks among the nation's top 25 Best College Campuses, with dining options playing a significant role in that recognition. "Aramark has proven experience, a strong commitment to technology, student engagement and operational execution, and we are excited about what this partnership will bring to the GCU community," Mueller said.
Aramark will provide real-time reporting to university leadership for performance monitoring and decision-making support. The hospitality program will emphasize workforce continuity and operational stability while supporting student employment opportunities.
Grand Canyon University, founded in 1949, is a private Christian university in Arizona offering 380 academic programs. Aramark Collegiate Hospitality serves more than 275 colleges and universities nationwide, according to the company's press release.
