Wyndham Hotels CEO discloses cancer diagnosis, accounting chief to depart

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Inc. (NYSE: WH) announced that Chief Executive Officer Geoff Ballotti disclosed to employees on May 18 that he will undergo treatment for Multiple Myeloma while continuing to work largely as normal.
The company also announced that Chief Accounting Officer Nicola Rossi will depart on July 31. Christopher Androski, currently Senior Vice President and Controller, will assume the Chief Accounting Officer role effective that date.
Androski, 52, has served as Senior Vice President and Controller since May 2018. He previously held controller positions with Wyndham Hotel Group from 2008 to 2018, including Vice President and Controller from 2013 to 2015 and Senior Vice President and Controller from 2015 to 2018.
Before joining Wyndham, Androski worked as Senior Director and Controller at Galileo Americas, a Travelport subsidiary, from 2006 to 2008. He also served as Director of Corporate Audit at Cendant Corporation from 2001 to 2005 and began his career as an independent auditor at Arthur Anderson.
The company and Rossi agreed to his departure date on May 13. He will remain in his current position to facilitate a transition through July 31.
