Destination XL Group Inc. (NASDAQ: DXLG) announced that Chief Executive Officer Harvey Kanter will retire when his employment agreement expires on August 11, 2026.
The company notified Kanter on May 11, 2026, that it would not renew his amended employment agreement, which was originally effective April 1, 2022, and later amended on August 11, 2023. The notification aligns with Kanter's expressed desire to retire and fulfills requirements outlined in his employment agreement.
Kanter currently serves as both President and CEO of the retail company. His employment termination is scheduled for August 11, 2026, according to the company statement.
