Kymera Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: KYMR) announced it will present clinical data on KT-621, an oral STAT6 degrader, at the Society for Investigative Dermatology Annual Meeting and American Thoracic Society Respiratory Innovation Summit in May 2026.
The presentations will feature results from the BroADen Phase 1b clinical trial of KT-621 in atopic dermatitis patients. The company reported that the drug demonstrated STAT6 degradation in blood and skin, reductions in Type 2 inflammatory biomarkers including TARC, Eotaxin-3, IL-31, and FeNO, and showed activity in asthma patients with comorbid conditions.
New data from the Phase 1b study showed KT-621 led to reductions in STAT6 in epidermal keratinocytes and dermis after four weeks of treatment. Transcriptomic analyses revealed downregulation of an atopic dermatitis disease-relevant gene signature, including Type 2 markers and genes associated with epithelial hyperplasia, itch signaling, and inflammatory pathways.
The company is conducting parallel Phase 2b trials in atopic dermatitis and asthma, with data expected by mid-2027 and late 2027, respectively. These studies are intended to support subsequent Phase 3 registration studies across multiple Type 2 inflammatory diseases.
KT-621 is described as a first-in-class, once-daily oral degrader of STAT6, a transcription factor responsible for IL-4/IL-13 signaling. The drug is currently in Phase 2 clinical testing for atopic dermatitis and asthma.
The Society for Investigative Dermatology presentation is scheduled for May 16, 2026, in Chicago, while the American Thoracic Society presentation will occur the same day in Orlando.
