Yiren Digital Ltd. (NYSE: YRD) announced that artificial intelligence agents are executing core workflows across its credit and insurance operations, marking a shift from AI-assisted tools to autonomous execution systems.
The Beijing-based fintech company deployed its proprietary multi-agent platform MagiCube 2.0, which includes two specialized layers: XuanJi for workflow execution and ZhiNao, an enterprise operating system that coordinates AI agents across the organization.
The architecture builds on Yiren Digital's large language model Zhiyu, which received regulatory filing approval in April 2025, and the original MagiCube platform launched in October 2025. The system now handles outbound customer service, telesales, insurance proposal generation, and lending operations through automated agents rather than human-assisted processes.
"We are now becoming an AI-native, multi-industry company," said Ning Tang, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "This shift is already improving how we operate, allowing us to scale expertise, increase efficiency, and expand into new verticals with greater speed and discipline."
The company reported that AI-powered precision marketing reduced sales, marketing and customer service expenses as a percentage of total revenue in fiscal year 2025. The AI infrastructure enabled rapid growth in its internet insurance distribution business across consecutive quarters.
Yiren Digital operates an enterprise platform called Workspace AI that connects employees with AI agents through a single interface called AI Buddy. The system provides access to enterprise data and automated workflows under centralized governance for compliance and risk control.
The company serves over 14 million cumulative credit customers and more than 2 million insurance customers. It plans to extend its AI capabilities beyond financial services through minority investments in AI startups focused on learning, entertainment, and autonomous services.
According to International Data Corporation research cited in the announcement, active AI agents deployed by Chinese enterprises are projected to grow at approximately 135% annually through 2031.
