IQVIA expands partnership with Kexing Biopharm for biosimilar development

IQVIA (NYSE: IQV) announced an expansion of its strategic collaboration with Kexing Biopharm (Stock Code: 688136.SH) to support global biosimilar development and commercialization programs using artificial intelligence capabilities.
The collaboration combines IQVIA's clinical development, regulatory strategy, advanced analytics and commercialization services under a coordinated global approach. The program aims to accelerate biosimilar development for international markets while maintaining quality and scientific standards.
The partnership integrates IQVIA's AI-enabled clinical trial capabilities across protocol design, site identification and study conduct to streamline execution and improve trial performance. These AI tools are designed to enhance speed, efficiency and decision-making throughout the development process.
"Through this collaboration, we are supporting Kexing as it progresses its global biosimilar development efforts," said Brian Mi, President, Asia Pacific, IQVIA. "IQVIA brings deep biosimilar expertise, global execution capabilities and AI-powered solutions to accelerate Kexing's global expansion strategy."
Yanqing Zhao, General Manager at Kexing Biopharm, stated that the collaboration will accelerate the company's internationalization strategy. "IQVIA's scale, global data resources, AI capabilities, patient insights and clinical expertise will support the optimization of trial design, mitigation of regulatory risk and improvement of overseas registration efficiency," Zhao said.
IQVIA provides clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to life sciences and healthcare industries. Kexing Biopharm specializes in research, development, production and sales of recombinant protein drugs and microecological preparations.
