Vodafone Ireland has implemented Amdocs' Network Inventory solution to replace its legacy system and modernize network operations, according to a company statement. The deployment aims to automate network planning, rollout and assurance processes.
Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX) announced the go-live of its latest Network Inventory solution at Vodafone Ireland as part of the telecommunications provider's initiative to modernize and harmonize network operations. The system replaces Vodafone Ireland's previous legacy infrastructure.
The new inventory system will standardize Vodafone Ireland's inventory models and processes with other Vodafone Group countries across Europe. The implementation includes data migration and cleansing from the previous system.
"By moving to Amdocs' modern network inventory solution, we are strengthening our ability to plan, build, and manage our network more efficiently," said Sheila Kavanagh, Chief Network Officer at Vodafone Ireland. "This upgrade not only helps us deliver better service to our customers today, but also ensures we're well-prepared for tomorrow's connectivity demands."
Anthony Goonetilleke, Group President of Technology and Head of Strategy at Amdocs, stated the deployment represents a milestone in Vodafone's network transformation efforts. The system is designed to enable automation and integration across group operations.
Amdocs provides software and services for communications and media companies and reported revenue of $4.53 billion in fiscal 2025. The company operates globally and is listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market.
