Cactus Inc. (NYSE: WHD) announced board and executive leadership changes following its annual stockholder meeting held May 12, 2026.
Tana Utley was elected to the company's board of directors. Utley retired in 2022 after a 36-year career with Caterpillar Inc., serving as an officer for over 13 years and concluding her tenure as Vice President of the Large Power Systems Division from 2013 through 2022.
Bruce Rothstein and Melissa Law decided not to stand for reelection, reducing the board size to eight members, including six independent directors.
The board appointed Steven Bender the additional title of Chief Executive Officer of the Spoolable Technologies Segment while maintaining his role as Chief Operating Officer. Bender has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2023 and was Vice President of Operations from 2011 through 2023.
Bender assumes leadership duties of the Spoolable Technologies Segment from Stephen Tadlock, who will focus on leading the Cactus International Joint Venture.
The Houston-based company designs, manufactures, sells and rents pressure control and spoolable pipe technologies for onshore unconventional oil and gas wells. Its products are used during drilling, completion and production phases of customer wells.
