Merck (NYSE: MRK) announced it will present research from more than 100 abstracts across over 25 types of cancer at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting from May 29-June 2.
The pharmaceutical company will showcase five-year follow-up data from the KEYNOTE-942 trial evaluating intismeran autogene in combination with KEYTRUDA for patients with high-risk melanoma following complete resection. The study represents continued research into individualized neoantigen therapy approaches.
Final analysis results from the KEYNOTE-522 trial will demonstrate survival benefits for patients with high-risk early-stage triple-negative breast cancer treated with KEYTRUDA in combination with chemotherapy as pre-operative treatment, followed by single-agent continuation after surgery.
New data for sacituzumab tirumotecan, an investigational TROP2-directed antibody-drug conjugate, will add to research of treatment approaches for patients with non-small cell lung cancer. The Phase 3 OptiTROP-Lung05 trial conducted in China by Kelun-Biotech evaluated the drug plus KEYTRUDA in advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
Progression-free survival data from the ASCENT-04/KEYNOTE-D19 study evaluating KEYTRUDA plus Trodelvy for patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer will be featured in the official ASCO Press Program.
Additional presentations will include six-year follow-up data from KEYNOTE-811 evaluating KEYTRUDA plus trastuzumab and chemotherapy for HER2-positive gastric cancer, and extended follow-up from the LITESPARK-004 study of belzutifan in patients with von Hippel-Lindau disease-associated neoplasms.
Merck will hold an oncology investor event on June 1, 2026, during the ASCO meeting to provide updates on the company's oncology strategy and program.
