Evolus Inc. (NASDAQ: EOLS) announced the commercial launch of its Estyme injectable hyaluronic acid gel collection in Europe, scheduled for May 16. The launch marks the company's entry into the international dermal filler market.
The Estyme collection includes four injectable hyaluronic acid gels: Estyme Smooth and Estyme Form, currently marketed in the United States as Evolysse, plus two new products, Estyme Lips and Estyme Sculpt. Estyme Sculpt, designed for mid-face volume restoration, represents the flagship product and is expecting U.S. FDA approval later this year.
The products utilize Cold-X technology developed by Symatese, which aims to preserve the natural structure of the hyaluronic acid molecule. The commercial launch follows CE Mark certification under the European Medical Device Regulation.
"With the commercial launch of Estyme, we are entering a new phase of growth as a multi-product aesthetics company in Europe," said David Moatazedi, president and chief executive officer of Evolus.
Dr. Benji Dhillon, a UK-based cosmetic surgeon and founder of the Define Clinic, stated that the Cold-X technology preserves the integrity of hyaluronic acid and provides practitioners with greater flexibility across different treatment areas.
Estyme represents Evolus's second commercial aesthetics product internationally, following the launch of Nuceiva in 2022. The European launch of Estyme Sculpt marks the first commercial availability of this mid-face volumizing product globally, ahead of anticipated U.S. approval.
The company stated that the dermal filler category effectively doubles its addressable market outside the United States, supporting its strategy to become a global, multi-product aesthetics company.
