Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BAER, BAERW) received two 160-day task orders from the US Forest Service for four of its CL-415EAF aircraft, representing at least $30 million in standby revenue for 2026.
The first task order began May 8, with the second extending coverage into the fourth quarter of 2026. Each order covers two aircraft for 160 days, marking an increase of 40 days per aircraft compared to last year's 120 guaranteed flying days.
The Belgrade, Montana-based aerial firefighting company stated these represent the longest task orders by guaranteed days in its history. The Forest Service awards provide year-round deployment capability for the aircraft fleet.
"This is a tremendous turning point for both Bridger and the way our country fights wildfires," said Sam Davis, chief executive officer. "Now, for a second year in a row, we are seeing earlier award dates and longer durations, which further demonstrates the Forest Service's commitment to the proactive and aggressive management of wildfires."
The task orders follow a pattern of extended contract durations, with the Forest Service issuing longer-term commitments for aerial firefighting services. Bridger provides wildfire management services to federal and state agencies across the United States and internationally.
The information was disclosed in a company press release statement.
