Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On May 7, 2026, El Pollo Loco Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing certain financial results for its first quarter ended April 1, 2026. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
