Everest names Lisa Davis head of North America wholesale unit

Everest Group Ltd. (NYSE: EG) appointed Lisa Davis as Head of North America, Wholesale & Specialty, the company announced in a press release statement.

Davis will oversee underwriting strategy, distribution, and portfolio management across the region. She reports to Jason Keen, executive vice president and chief executive officer of Global Wholesale & Specialty.

"Along with her extensive experience, Lisa brings a combination of underwriting discipline, operational leadership, and strong relationships that are critical in this environment," Keen said in the statement.

Davis brings more than 35 years of experience in specialty insurance businesses across wholesale markets. Most recently, she led the expansion of Canopius' U.S. business. She previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer for North America at Sompo America and held leadership roles at Zurich North America and St. Paul Companies.

Everest provides property, casualty, and specialty reinsurance and insurance solutions. The Hamilton, Bermuda-based company's stock is a component of the S&P 500 index.
