Iran says it introduced new vessel transit system for Strait of Hormuz

Investing.com -- Iran has established a new mechanism for managing vessel transit through the Strait of Hormuz, according to a report by Iran's Press TV on Tuesday.
The Iranian government has warned the U.S. Navy to stay out of the Strait of Hormuz and announced that commercial vessels will be required to coordinate any passage through the waterway with its military forces.
Iran has also issued a new map of the strait showing an expanded Iranian area of control over the strategic waterway.
