ServiceNow Inc. (NYSE: NOW) introduced AI Learning Guide and SimStudio features for its ServiceNow University platform at the Knowledge 2026 conference in Las Vegas. The AI-powered tools provide personalized coaching and simulation-based training for users of the company's platform.
AI Learning Guide serves as a conversational coaching companion that guides learners through personalized learning paths and provides real-time feedback. SimStudio offers a hands-on simulation environment where learners can practice ServiceNow tasks and receive performance feedback based on their work methods rather than course completion.
ServiceNow University has grown to nearly 2 million learners, representing 80% year-over-year growth. The platform shows customer learners increased 28%, partner participation rose 17%, and employee participation jumped 24% compared to the previous year.
According to an IDC study sponsored by ServiceNow, organizations completing ServiceNow training and certifications achieve a 536% return on investment within three years through staff efficiencies and productivity improvements. The study found upskilled employees demonstrate 16% higher productivity gains.
The company reported that customers with certified implementors show 7-point higher gross retention and 14-point higher net retention rates. Partners with certified implementation leads help customers go live one month faster with higher satisfaction scores.
ServiceNow University remains free and accessible to employees, customers, partners, and individual learners. The platform recently added Arabic language support and is developing Brazilian Portuguese content. Both AI Learning Guide and SimStudio are currently available to users.
