Formula 1 and FanDuel announced a partnership naming FanDuel as an Official Betting Operator of Formula 1, marking the first time the racing series has partnered with a betting operator in the United States.
The agreement integrates FanDuel's sportsbook odds into Formula 1's Betting Guide and betting content across the Formula 1 website and mobile application. The partnership covers the United States and Canada markets.
FanDuel's platform will provide real-time insights and betting context during race weekends. The companies will collaborate on responsible gaming content designed for Formula 1 fans.
"Being named an Official Betting Operator of Formula 1 marks an exciting step forward as we enhance our sportsbook product to deliver more interactive experiences for fans," said Karol Corcoran, Managing Director of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Jonny Haworth, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Formula 1, stated the partnership addresses increasing sports betting engagement among US fans. He noted FanDuel's presence across the country with tens of millions of fans.
The partnership offers betting options including race winners, podium finishes and head-to-head driver matchups. Additional wagering options are planned for later this year.
FanDuel Group operates as a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment (NYSE: FLUT). The company reports approximately 17 million customers and maintains 25 retail locations across all 50 states.
