Halozyme names Darren Snellgrove as chief financial officer

Halozyme Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: HALO) announced the appointment of Darren Snellgrove as chief financial officer, effective June 8, 2026, according to a company statement.
Snellgrove will oversee Halozyme's financial operations and strategy, including capital allocation, corporate development and investor relations. He will report to Helen Torley, the company's president and chief executive officer.
Snellgrove brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical and medical technology sectors. He most recently led investor relations at Johnson & Johnson, where he managed corporate messaging and investor engagement strategies.
Previously, Snellgrove served as chief financial officer of Johnson & Johnson's Pharmaceuticals sector, providing financial leadership for a business generating more than $50 billion in annual revenue. Earlier in his career, he held CFO and senior finance positions across pharmaceutical research and development, innovation, and mergers and acquisitions at Johnson & Johnson, as well as finance roles at Centocor before its acquisition.

Snellgrove holds an MBA from Villanova University and a BA Honors degree from the University of Southampton in England.
Halozyme develops drug delivery technologies and commercializes drug-device combination products. The San Diego-based company's ENHANZE technology facilitates subcutaneous delivery of injected drugs and fluids and has been used in more than one million patients through ten commercialized products.
