Canadian Pacific Kansas City (NYSE: CP) announced that shareholders elected all 14 director nominees at the company's annual meeting held April 29, 2026, according to a press release.
All directors received at least 95.84 percent of votes cast. Isabelle Courville was re-appointed Chair of CPKC's Board of Directors following her re-election, while Gordon Trafton was re-appointed Vice-Chair.
Keith Creel received the highest support with 99.66 percent of votes, while Matthew Paull received the lowest at 95.84 percent. Other directors receiving strong support included Edward Hamberger at 99.69 percent and Janet Kennedy at 99.57 percent.
Shareholders also approved several other proposals during the meeting. The advisory vote on executive compensation received 87.48 percent support, while the advisory vote on climate change approach garnered 88.72 percent approval. The appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as auditor received 99.88 percent backing.
The railway company stated that complete voting results from the annual meeting will be filed with SEDAR+ and the Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR system.
CPKC operates approximately 20,000 route miles across Canada, the United States and Mexico, employing roughly 20,000 workers. The Calgary-based company describes itself as the only single-line transnational railway connecting the three North American countries.
