HCA Healthcare appoints Cynthia Cifuentes-Finkel as marketing chief

HCA Healthcare (NYSE: HCA) announced that Cynthia Cifuentes-Finkel will join the company as senior vice president of marketing and corporate affairs, effective June 8, 2026.

Cifuentes-Finkel will report to Mike McAlevey, executive vice president, chief legal and administrative officer. Her responsibilities will include leading enterprise marketing, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement.

The executive brings over 25 years of leadership experience across healthcare, consumer marketing and global media sectors. She spent 15 years in senior roles at Kaiser Permanente, most recently serving as regional vice president of communications and strategic partnerships for Southern California and Hawaii, which serves nearly 5 million patients.

Cifuentes-Finkel holds an MBA from Mount St. Mary's University and a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She serves on boards of the Strathmore Arts Center and the Latino Student Fund in Washington, D.C., and is an Executive Fellow of The Economic Club of Washington, D.C.

She succeeds Deb Reiner, who retired after more than 25 years with HCA Healthcare.

HCA Healthcare operates 189 hospitals and approximately 2,600 ambulatory sites of care across 19 states and the United Kingdom. The Nashville-based company serves approximately 47 million annual patient encounters.
