Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) announced that Scott Gawel, Corporate Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, resigned from his position as principal accounting officer effective April 24, 2026, to pursue another career opportunity.
David A. Zinsner, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, assumed the role of principal accounting officer in addition to his existing position as principal financial officer, according to the company statement.
The resignation was effective immediately upon announcement. Intel provided no additional details regarding the transition or timeline for finding a permanent replacement for the accounting officer position.
