Infosys beats quarterly revenue estimates, forecasts fiscal 2027 growth
Investing.com -- India's IT giant Infosys reported quarterly revenue above analyst expectations on Thursday, driven by increased demand from its banking, energy and communication segments.
The company posted revenue of 464.02 billion rupees for the three months ended March, exceeding the average analyst estimate of 460.30 billion rupees. Revenue rose 13.4% compared to the same period last year.
Net profit reached 85.01 billion rupees for the quarter, surpassing the analyst estimate of 74.65 billion rupees.
For fiscal 2027, Infosys projected revenue growth of 1.5% to 3.5%, below brokerage estimates of 2% to 4% for the year. The company forecast an operating margin of 20% to 22% for the fiscal year.
Infosys announced a dividend of 25 rupees per share.
The IT services firm also announced the incorporation of a step-down wholly owned subsidiary in Japan.
